Side Walk Repair

Yesterday was spent moving part of my side walk that was too close to a tree so that we were able to walk on it once again.over the years the tree had grown up and overtaken our side walk.
I remember putting this side walk in about nine years ago and it was very hot out as was yesterday. Now we can actually use our side walk again.

My Visitor

This guy came out to see us at lunch time, just an ordinary Black snake they mean no harm to anyone. He must have decided that it was safe to venture out when the job site became quiet during lunch so I helped him on his way and moved him to a nearby field so he wouldn't be injured or killed.

Many Years Ago

Wow this makes me feel old I ran across it yesterday and it reminded me of my old computer the old HP with a 1GHZ cpu and my old Thinkpad with a 400 mhz cpu. Believe it or not that laptop still works well even though its slow. My cat still enjoys sitting on me while I am at my computer as well.

Cables & Wires

This is not a paid post I am just sharing this so others can save a few dollars as well.
We bought a new TV a few months back at best buy and the salesman really tried to get us to buy HDMI cables from them but I knew that the prices they have in the store are outrageous for simple cables, so I declined to get any at the time. I do have a DVI cable connecting my computer to the monitor and that wasn't cheap. I was given this website the other day and I was stunned at the difference in price on some of the HDMI cables. This is a 20 foot one here for $22.00. Some of the places I looked a few weeks ago wanted from $50-$100 for a similar one.They also have everything needed for mounting a flastscreen TV on your wall such as recessed wall plates and such.

Thunder Storm

We had a nasty thunderstorm this afternoon, this video was the begining of it when it was first blowing in over the hilltops.

Haunting

Last summer my wife talked me into going to Weston WV to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum It is a former mental hospital that is supposed to be haunted. It was interesting to say the least and We got lots of pictures.
Just the poor state the building is in would be enough to scare you at night I think, our tour was at 7 pm I think and it was about 9 when we got finished. My wife enjoys going to places like this.







Well this year she wants to go to The former West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville, now this place sounds rather interesting maybe even get the sh^t scared out of you in here. If we do go I will get a lot of pictures here as well.
