I am tired of cold weather this year, normally winter doesn't bother me a whole lot but I guess as the years roll by my tolerance for the cold has gone away along with my youth. I was looking for a picture today and I found this from this past summer and I recall how hot it was on the day we took them.I cant wait until spring.

Beautiful Day in the woods
Since I had the day off and my boys were stills sleeping I headed up the road to a nearby nature preserve to try out my new camera. I didn't see much wildlife in the woods but I enjoyed a peaceful walk in the quiet since not another person was in sight,
Thats probably about as exciting as my day will get for the last day of 2010, other than eating later on. Be safe if you are out tonight.

Down In The Swamp
Me and my wife walked out near the swamp in upstate NY at my mom and dad's house, there are so many things to see and hear.
This area is normally under water and this stump is now exposed, we thought it was neat how it looked after being under water for god only knows how long.

Eagle's nest
There is an eagles nest near a job we are doing that a pair of eagles live in. The nest is HUGE, The other day I had my old camera with me and got the lower picture here where the eagle is in the top of the tree, the picture didn't come out real good though. Today I brought my good camera with me but didn't see the eagles but I took a picture of the nest anyhow just to show the shear size of it.It amazes me at the amount of work they have put into their nest. The picture doesn't really do it justice you almost have to see it in real life in order to appreciate it.here you can see the eagle in the top of the tree above the nest.
