Old house's amaze me I love all the history and looking at all the old stuff so you can get an idea how people used to do things, really makes you understand how easy we really have it. can you imagine having to use this fireplace to cook with every day from getting the firewood to the big kettle and just imagine how hot it would get in there on a hot day,by the way it was 90 one day last week.
This switch isn't really that old but it was in such good shape still. most of the ones like this I have run across over the years are broken. this would be fun to try and wire hot.
