This Cat Is Pretty......

UGLY
His chest sports some gnarly locks, but the rest of his skin is bald and rubbery -- with a rat-like tail and a wrinkly face. MORE.....

Well he may look "different" but I don't think it would change my opinion of owning a cat that looked like this, he has individuality to say the least. I would actually like to have a cat like this.

Back To The Farmhouse

Today I am going to get backon topic with my blog, Today we went back to the old farmhouse and installed some low voltage lighting in the master bathroom. This bathroom has had a lot of work done to it over the last few months. It did have a regular ceiling in it and they took that out and exposed the real beams in the room so low voltage lighting was the only option we had short of using old fashioned track lighting. I personally think the lighting really sets the room off and enhances the wood. The stone at the end of this hall is an actual fireplace that has been converted to natureal gas.

Busy Day

Today was a very busy day for me, I had a long day at work. I also decided to use my other blog space for Linux or other computer information since the subject of this blog is meant to be about the electrical trade and or my daily activities. I have kind of strayed from my main topic lately but I saw a lot of interest in the subject of computers and linux so I am going to try and maintain two blogs. I still plan on keeping my drops up and visiting all my regular friends and such. Nothing should change. My new blog My Linux Today will have an entre card in a few days since I need to make a few more post's before linking it in. please stop over and visit and comments are always welcome.

Draksnapshot

It seems Mandriva 2009 comes with Draksnapshot which is a simple backup program however it seems to have a few bugs on of which is eating up your whole root partition. On a new install it isn't supposed to be activated however if you are like me and go rooting around a new OS looking at all its features you may inadvertently activate it. I simply uninstalled it since I back my files up myself and would rather not rely on a program to do it for me. It seems that is also a memory hog.
